Snowplow Operator
We are seeking dedicated Snowplow and Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.
Summary:
The Snowplow Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of snowplow trucks, loaders, skid steers, and other equipment to manage snow and ice accumulations on job sites. Operators must be available 24/7 to respond to snow or ice events as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of work performed, including times, dates, equipment inspections, site logs, and weather reports. We are also hiring members for our shovel crews.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and/or equipment operator certifications

- Shovel crew members are not required to have a valid driver’s license

Landscape Crew Lead
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Landscape Crew Lead to oversee and manage our landscape crew.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage landscape crew members
- Ensure all crew members use required personal protective equipment
- Oversee that all work is performed according to industry and company standards
- Ensure adherence to equipment safety and maintenance procedures
- Interact with clients to ensure satisfaction with the work performed
- Lead by example and supervise the crew during all assigned tasks
- Report to duty on time at the designated location each day
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and company policies
- Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients

- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steers
- Knowledge of plants, including perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
- Experience with hardscape installation, including pavers, segmental wall blocks, and natural stone
- Extensive knowledge of irrigation installation practices

Lawn Technician
Job Summary:
The Yard Butler is seeking a certified Lawn, Tree, and Pest Control Applicator in Idaho Falls and surrounding areas. Candidates must hold a pesticide/herbicide applicator certification through the ISDA.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Applicator is responsible for applying pesticides and other chemical treatments to manage pests and weeds in residential and commercial settings. The Applicator will work closely with the Spray Manager to receive assignments, routes, and tasks.
Key Tasks:
- Mix and apply pesticides and other chemical treatments as required
- Calibrate equipment to ensure precise application of pesticides or treatments
- Maintain organized and accurate records of treatments applied, including the type and amount of pesticide used, weather conditions, and any issues encountered
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and colleagues to address questions, provide advice, and resolve concerns
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for the safe handling and application of chemicals
- Properly use personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Comply with all laws and regulations on product labels and from the Department of Agriculture
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and report any issues to the manager
- Educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, offer advice on lawn and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their needs

Lawn Care Worker
Job Duties:
- Load and unload trucks and trailers in the morning and evening, including all labor, equipment and materials required to complete daily tasks
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming edges, cleaning up debris, blowing trimmings, and general weeding in planter beds and throughout the property
- Assist with landscape construction by moving and installing soil, mulch, and plant material
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality work
- Operate power equipment, including lawn tractors, mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, and snow blowers
- Assist with additional job-related duties, including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, and vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas
- Snow removal positions are available for those seeking year-round employment
- Use daily logs and smartphone for time tracking

Irrigation Technician
Job Description:
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of manual, semi-automatic, and automatic irrigation systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, possess a strong work ethic, exceeds expectations, and effectively manages time.
Specific Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Perform sprinkler system start-ups and winterizations
- Install new sprinkler systems
- Conduct backflow inspections
- Troubleshoot irrigation system issues
- Make seasonal clock adjustments
- Repair sprinkler system defects, including lateral lines, main lines, valves, and pressure vacuum breakers (PVBs)
- Manage inventory and maintain organization and cleanliness
- Interact professionally with customers and fellow employees
- Train maintenance employees in irrigation process
- Stand and walk for long periods, bend, crouch, and navigate various terrain and trenches, and frequently move supplies up to 75 lbs
- Operate all tools and machinery required for each job
Education/Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of sprinkler technician experience (required)
- Knowledge and experience with mini excavators, skid steers, and backhoes a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving history required
